Partnerships and Environmental Risk Mitigation BJAAM Brownfield professionals possess not only the technical knowledge to complete complex Brownfield Redevelopment projects, but the business relationships to facilitate such developments. Public/Private partnerships are one way BJAAM consolidates resources to undertake challenging Brownfield Redevelopment projects. Such partnerships are invaluable to not only secure funding through state and federal agencies, but to also infuse Private Capital into a Brownfield project. Unique business models can be established to mitigate or transfer liability from the public entity, thus relieving a major obstacle to many Brownfield redevelopment projects. These unique partnerships leverage both private and public dollars to the project, limit environmental liability to all involved, and greatly accelerate the process of placing an under utilized property back into productive use for the local community
